I have been trying to find a good RSS aggregator that wouldn't annoy me for quite some time. I did try several popular Mozilla extensions, and found out that they either lack
Seamonkey support or they just plain suck. About a week ago I came across
inforss. I did download and install 0.9.0b1 on
my current seamonkey "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051214 SeaMonkey/1.5a". It took me some time to get it configured and got used to it. It did have some glitches that were supposedly fixed in 0.9.0b2. What I really liked about the whole project was that developers are actually trying to make it work not with just firefox but also with
Seamonkey. Anyway,
inforss is highly recommended to those who want a very complex and flexible RSS aggregator that does what it's supposed to be doing and doesn't get in your way.
