Just finished watching all of 45 episodes of
12 kokuki (12 kingdoms). The first thing that comes to mind is: unbeleivable amount of tears! In each episode someone is crying. By the end it wasn't that bad, but in the beginning it was just unbearable. Girls would be crying, guys would be crying, I was about to just give up watching the whole thing... Anyway, I was strong and finished watching them all. Interesting animation series indeed. The idea of twelve kingdoms was pretty interesting, but it was not exploited well, in my opinoin. So much could have been done with that idea. Overall, it was quite good, so I would recommend watching it, assuming huge quantities of tears don't bother you.
